The successful candidate will be working with an extremely capable, experienced and motivated team and will take a good degree of responsibility for the quality of all training developed and delivered. Your responsibilities will include:

Ensure successful, efficient and effective delivery of Clients leadership, management and competency programmes and associated activities, ensuring that they are delivered as per client's policies, practices and procedures and your line manager.s instructions.

Set-up and facilitate practical tasks and activities for leadership, management and competency training students. Undertake assessment and development of students. Prepare and write reports on student performance. Supervise students during evening presentations when required.
.
Provide regular feedback to your colleagues and line manager to facilitate open and effective communication and to ensure efficient internal working practices.
.
Manage, facilitate and attend as required meetings, conferences, workshops and seminars with appropriate programme stakeholders. Prepare briefing notes for the Programme Manager when required.
.
Undertake internal validation, external evaluation and other customer feedback processes such as reports as may be required to facilitate a continuous improvement programme and to ensure that
customer requirements are continually met to their full satisfaction.

Identify and report to your line manager additional areas of business that the client may be able to develop from the leadership, management and competency programmes.

Experience & Skills
Essential:
Demonstrable and strong experience as a front-line leader with departmental level management responsibilities. A recipient of middle management level leadership training.
Experience of delivering leadership and management training programmes at a recognised centre of training excellence. Ideally within the public sector or infrastructure sector.
Experience of being an effective team member and the provision of outstanding support to a team leader.
Experience of producing independent high quality written reports and briefs and delivering high quality oral briefings and presentations at middle management level.
A nationally recognised training/ development qualification such as Cert Ed, CTLLS or PTLLS.
Strong evidence of involvement in the delivery of a successful training based programme within the public and/or private sector.
IT- literate with MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
Desirable or advantageous:
Experience of challenging appointments in public and non-public sector employment
NEBOSH/IOSH or first aid (qualifications or valid trainers qualifications)
NVQ Assessor.s and IV Award (D32/33 (A1) and 34 (V1))
CIPD or ILM (qualifications or membership)
Belbin practitioner

Demonstrate sensitivity to the needs of both internal and external stakeholders, present arguments and debate in a balanced, non-confrontational manner and demonstrate strong listening skills.
Articulate and highly personable with a high degree of self-confidence, commonsense and business awareness.
A forward-thinking and dynamic person with a “can do” attitude and the ability to build strong client relationships
You should be prepared to work the hours on-site to meet the needs of the appointment and to help the development of the Company. This is a „uniformed. post and the Company will provide you with appropriate corporate work wear.
Contract Terms and Remuneration
This is a twenty-seven (27) week contract of employment over the period 1st June – 7th December (inclusive)
2012, which includes sixteen (16) days paid holiday from 4th – 27th August (inclusive) 2012. Payment of
£2,570 will be made at the end of each calendar month and pro-rata for any part of a month thereof, giving a total payment of £16,000 gross salary for the whole 27-week period.
Successful candidates will be expected to learn course content and The Clients house style. quickly through observation of training delivery and by going through the Company.s Induction process.
